Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I rented on very short notice with enterprise in wilkesboro NC for a very short trip one way to the airport in Charlotte. They didn't have the actual car that I had reserved but they were so accommodating with a replacement and the customer service was phenomenal!!! on a scale of 1 to 10!! I'd give them a 20!!! the car return at the airport was simple and quick. The vehicle was clean with no issues. I always use enterprise and I always will choose Wilkesboro location if I can!!! Kudos!!!

I had a fantastic experience with Enterprise, and I want to especially recognize Jonathan for going above and beyond. He had everything ready for me when I arrived, was extremely professional, helpful, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I needed a vehicle for a one-way trip that could handle lots of luggage and boxes. I originally requested a 3-row SUV, but there weren’t any available for one-way rentals. Jonathan suggested a minivan instead due to the similar amount of space and mentioned it would most likely be a Chrysler Pacifica. After looking it up, I saw that it offered the same room, was much more affordable, and better on gas. The minivan I received was in great condition and very clean. Absolute nightmare renting from this location. The car we received was defective and we tried to call the location in Wilkesboro, NC at least 10 times and no one would answer. We got put on auto hold every time and then the line would drop. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. I cannot even explain to you how frustrating this is and I cannot get anyone from Enterprise corporate to call me. Customer service at Enterprise is non-existent. I rent a lot of cars every year and this stands out as the worst experience I have ever had.

Fast, easy, but if it’s through insurance don’t expect to get the same car to drive. It will be a downgrade. I was driving a suv and was given a small car to drive. The car was missing an hubcap and had burn places in it. After the car had been returned they were reaching out to the body shop trying to find the car. Knowing someone from enterprise had drove me there to get my car. So, someone isn’t doing their job. I turned it in on Thursday and they called the body shop on Monday. When I called enterprise the car was still pending under my name. As of 10-22-25 Not nothing was ever DONE with this MATTER!!!

Absolutely terrible. Went in to pick up my truck rental, which was there and on the lot. I left for approximately 3 hours to find a credit card to satisfy their booking policy. I show back up, and they tell me they no longer have the truck. Without my authorization or even notifying me, they have the only truck to someone else. Staff refused to do anything other than recite corporate policy and corporate phone numbers. Absolutely horrible location with horrible people skills. Stay far away and use a local rental down the street, Rapid Auto Rentals.
