Ernie's Auto Repair

Last week on my birthday the motor mount in my car broke..with a storm coming it was hard to find a place to take my car but after 8 calls to various places Ernies said bring it on over and they'd check it out after the storm.. And that they did ! I was given an estimate yesterday morning for a transmission mount and drivers axle replacement / just 2 days after our snowstorm !!! I gave the go ahead yesterday to do the work and to my surprise I got a call today that my car was done !!! I will definitely be recommending Ernies Auto Repair to others and I will take any of my vehicles back as needed.. Straightforward and to the point, upfront costs, great communication thru text and got the job done in the super fast timeframe I was given ~~ 10/10 recommend !! Thank you guys for repairing

I wish I could rate this place a zero as 1 star is too generous. I purposely avoid this place and it’s so convenient to stop there, that’s how much I despise it. The people working there have no social skills. You can’t get a smile out of anybody. You ask them a question and they answer you like you’re a complete idiot. Everyone in Manville tells me that they were really good until the original owners either passed away or let go of the business. Now the current owners must be on a mission to bury it. They do not care about you at all and the only people who frequent this place is the last generation of people living in this community who have loyalty to the original owners.

This guy is fine. There are poor reviews for friendliness. I think there is something to be said for being straightforward. No issues with this shop or their employees. Have used them several times since 2012 and will continue to do so. *****2023 update /re-rating *****new ownership, and they took serious advantage of a friend and a couple others will never return.

Nasty attitude, sent my car to get the starter fixed. Drive it home and the starter was stuck on after I turned the car off. Ernie also knocked my wheel alignment out of place. Charged me 300 and I was cool with that. So I called him to explain my alignment problem and he gave me an attitude lol. Dude is not professional and he couldn't even handle a infiniti q50. Poor business with this guy. Would not recommend to Any one !!

I have never had such a bad experience with a “mom and pops” shop! The boss is extremely rude. I have called gone done there and called a few times just trying to get a super simple job done that literally takes 3-5 minutes (switching out a valve stem) and he has completely blown me off again. I have been tryin to get it switched out all summer! I even bought a manual tire changer but the tire is WAY too tight on the rim for it. All in all, I would recommend you steer clear of this terrible place of business, unless your into getting talked down to... and the work denied because he’s in a bad mood that day.
