Etown fast lube & Auto wash

Great touchless car wash. I’ve had an issue a couple of times with a machine stopped up and I contacted the owner through text message and they immediately dissolve the issue and gave me free car washes. I highly recommend this car wash. It’s my favorite.

Lately the car wash has went downhill. Doesn’t offer everything it used to offer and charges more for the wash times in do it yourself bays and the automatic wash. Some of there pressure washers don’t work like they should. They have signs up for no farm trucks but it full of mud since the trucks don’t care about the rules. So you’ll pull in and start spraying and when you leave the bay you have more mud all over tires again so that sucks. Cakes in mud all over the grates from the drain. Need to invest in new equipment and make the bays smaller in height so the trucks can’t get in. Elizabethtown just needs more better options for car care. Getting bigger and bigger but nothing coming in for cleaning your car yourself in the colder and winter months.

My car came out clean with minimal water spots, and I appreciated the free vacuum bays that actually have strong suction—unlike a lot of other places. The wash quality is solid for the price, especially if you use the monthly plan. I also like that they offer microfiber towels and cleaner spray at the vacuum stations. However, the lines can back up on busy days, and sometimes the tire shine doesn't coat evenly. Overall, it's one of the better express washes in the area. I tried the gentle-touch auto-wash and it did a good job. The only issue was the forward/stop/reverse lights all went out as I was approaching the position I needed to stop and stayed out until I tried backing up and pulling forward a minute later. Then it was like the system came back on or something and it all went smoothly from there. I also really liked the count-down timer for the blow-dry fans at the end so you can pace yourself leaving.

Paid extra for the air dryer but didn’t get it then when I was trying the in leave the door closed. The machine voice said please drive forward and the light turned green, 60 second timer started for dryer I started easing forward thinking the dryer would start blowing but nothing happened nothing then the door closed while I was still inside!! Still 37 seconds on the timer as well! When the door did finally open it almost ripped my front license plate off. Rip off literally!
