European Auto Of Island Park

Finding a mechanic shop that suits your needs can be stressful, time consuming, and costly. Fortunately for you, you've found the right place. European Auto is the pinnacle of perfection with straightforward fair pricing, quality work, and expeditious completion time. The front desk welcomes you warmly and is quick to point you in the right direction. The techs are passionate and knowledgeable. George, the owner, knows the importance of a first impression. In 2021, I was in search of a specialist for my BMW F10 535i to diagnose a wheel bearing and hub issue. I was well aware at the time that dealership pricing can be unreasonable, especially after the economic impact of the pandemic. I googled searched a "BMW Mechanic" and European Auto was one of the closest in my area. I asked a

I’ve been servicing my cars with European Auto since 2018/2019 without any regrets. The owner George knows his way around European cars like the back of his hand. What I appreciate the most about European auto is if something doesn’t go right, they won’t stop working until they do. And if you know George, he’s gonna get it done and done right. He treats the cars like his own. So if you’re looking for a team that won’t run to you in circles and does great work definitely come to European Auto.

I’ve used this shop twice now and both experiences have been excellent. The team does great work and is very upfront about what actually needs to be done, which I really appreciate. They take the time to explain things clearly and you can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their work. My car has been well taken care of each time. If you’re looking for a trustworthy European auto mechanic, I highly recommend them.

I’m a mechanic as well and understand everything doesn’t go absolutely perfectly the first time around. This was the result of our first attempt at fixing the heating issue on the Mercedes. So now let’s get to the part where George and his team shined. We brought the car back to the shop and it was on the lift within the first few hours there. They determined there was a small leak in an old gasket when they put it back together the first time. We had the car back the next day working absolutely perfectly at no additional expense. This repair saved us thousands of dollars using European auto instead of the dealer. To say I’ve been happy with George and his team over the last few years would be an understatement! Highly recommend

What more can I say about George. I have worked on Audi’s and Volkswagen since I am a little kid. I sadly no longer have the time to do some of the bigger jobs on my own cars. I brought my 2014 s5 to him for the PCV service. I can only say I was blown away by his commitment to keeping me informed about every step of the tear down and and reassembly. He sent me pictures of every step and made sure anything he found along the way was addressed. He truly treated my car as if it was one of his own. I appreciate that being as OCD about my cars as I am. I will send anyone I know his way and can truly not recommend him enough!
