I called before coming in and specifically asked whether license plate stickers are issued on the spot after the smog is completed. I was told yes. Based on that information, I chose this business. After I arrived, completed the smog, and paid, I was suddenly told that my stickers would be mailed in 2–3 weeks — the exact opposite of what I was told on the phone. When I pointed this out, the explanation magically changed to “the DMV only allows one transaction per 24 hours” and I was told to come back the next day.
