Fairmount Smog Test Only Star Certified Station

Took me all day to find someone that can do a smog on my older vehicle 🙃 but I found this place and I was very impressed with his knowledge of cars and how timely he got it done ✔️ 👏

Let me start by saying that this has been the best experience I've had getting a smog by far! When I arrived, I was greeted immediately, and given a run down on what to expect as well as the price which was very reasonable. The technician that did my smog has been doing so for over 20 years and was VERY knowledgeable and thorough and my smog was done in a timely manner! They've gained a customer based off of their customer service alone! I had a really pleasant experience there and highly recommend them.

Good service and friendly staff. Elmer, the technician, is very friendly and concise. Location is neat and clean. It's never too busy or crowded. There is a ample waiting area. $50 fee includes $42 for service, $8 for certificate. They charge only $42 for service if your vehicle fails. They give you 2 weeks for a retest. Fees vary depending on the type of vehicle. I tested a 2015 Toyota Corolla.

I showed up with no appointment and waited behind 2 other people. Tony came over to the waiting area and greeted me as soon as I walked over. He broke down the process and gave me an accurate wait time. Tony was polite, professional, and knowledgable. I would highly recommend anyone to get their smog check here.

Elmer was very friendly and personable and had a great attitude, just the kind of person you want greeting your customers! And the outdoor waiting area is cozy. Elmer even put on fun music for my daughter and she danced haha it was great. Thanks!
