Fame RV Center

This review of Fame RV should have been completed a long time ago. However, life gets in the way. We were not in the market for an RV. We had moved to the area from MD. I had been able to Telework and use our local office in Erie. That all changed and I had to be in the office in DC. We decided to invest in an RV that I could use as my residence while working in DC and it would be a good thing to have for us for vacation. At the time I had a small Tacoma and needed a pull behind RV that fit our needs for my home away from home and would be usable for RVing around as well. My wife and I were VERY pleased with the salesman. He listened to our needs; double checked the truck towing rating and only showed us units that fit into our limits. We worked with both Derek and Shannon they were fantastic to work with. I will recommend Fave to my family and friends that are interested I. A travel trailer. Their location is easy to fine off I79 at the 154 mile marker. All the employees at Fave were very friendly.

Words can describe how badly I was treated at Fame!! I received a quote for a truck cap on November 11,2026 on their quote they wrote “ Your quote will expire in 30 Days” on December 4, 2026 I picked up my new GMC truck and drove straight to Fame to purchase the cap. They blatantly refused to honor their quote! I talked to the manager Brenda Bidwell she refused to honor their quote. I asked why state on the quote it good for 30 days if you refuse to honor it. Chris the sales man was in the middle but he could not believe this poor poor business practice. The difference was $38.00 on a $2,750.00 sale unbelievable!! We recently purchased a new trailer from Fame. As always, the experience was great. Derek was so helpful (and patient) with all of our questions and decisions. Shannon made completing the paperwork a breeze. And finally, Denny and Jason did an excellent job hauling away the old trailer and setting up the new. We would never buy a trailer from anyone other than Fame.

So, we just got a camper and had to have it at Fames twice for 2 different issues. I have dealt with Cindy. She is great at communicating with me. The second I time I had it in was an emergency one of the skylight domes broke and we where getting ready to travel and she was awesome and got us in and done ahead of time. I don't think they are badly priced for service either.
