Family Auto Repair Plus

I don't normally leave reviews but the service was so exceptional I decided I needed to share my experience. My daughter lives in Virginia Beach and I live in another state. The heater core in her vehicle failed recently and I contacted Keith for a quote. This being a major repair that requires the dashboard of the vehicle to be completely removed, I was nervous. BUT, as I found out, there was absolutely no reason for my apprehension. Not only was the quote for the repair more than reasonable, the service was completed in two days and it was above and beyond expectation. I can highly recommend Family Auto Repair Plus and it was a pleasure to work with Keith. It is difficult to find a auto repair shop you can trust. They are the real deal. I’ve had two great experiences with Family Auto Repair Shop, and Keith has been amazing both times. I called him on Friday about my car not starting, dropped it off Monday morning, and he had it completely fixed before the end of the business day. He communicates clearly, works fast, and you can tell he genuinely cares about doing good, honest work. My first visit with him was just as smooth, so this really confirmed that this is a reliable shop I can trust. I appreciate the quick turnaround, fair pricing, and the professionalism every step of the way. Definitely my go-to mechanic from now on!

Warning Warning because this may be triggering. This shop should be out of business. This took over three(3) years. Excuse my long text and text. I was looking for an honest auto repair shop. Lol. I should have known better by my initial conversation and phone calls to this shop. Also, I should have done my research on these prior reviews. I got my Nissan Hardbody towed to the shop for a complete engine rebuild. Family auto repair plus offered to rebuild my engine and even to make it faster. Lol. After two months, I heard nothing, so I called. This is where it got very interesting, and all the delays and excuses start. I brought these guys a possessed escape for a transmission. They know all about this car from nightmares they had. With all the problems they had with this demon car they still went waay outta their way to get this car right!! I appreciate ALL yall did for me. Our daughter and her family were on their way to the Outer Banks when their car broke down. It needed some extensive repair. Family Auto was able to not only complete it before they passed through on their way back to Pennsylvania but the work was done at a VERY fair price.
