Firestone Complete Auto Care

My experience at this Firestone location was extremely disappointing. After the recent freeze, I called around 9am specifically to confirm they weren’t overwhelmed with repairs and to make sure they could finish the work today. I was told they had availability and could take care of my van, so I dropped it off about an hour later. The only update I received was around noon, when they quoted roughly $400 for the repair (after the diagnostic fee) and recommended several additional services. I declined those as I had already stated that I needed the vehicle back for work the next day. I didn’t hear anything else for the rest of the day. I was in the store this past November and looked at my invoice, which shows wheel alignment and tire rotation. I asked for a balance of tires as well. Directions not followed. Today I had an appointment and when I let them what I needed checked I was told it would be all day which is unacceptable. So I called another store within 5 minutes of leaving and was told to come in for my service needs. Got my vehicle diagnosed and serviced. Took 2 hours. I was also told that the service tech from my November visit didn't balance my tires, which is ridiculous. You don't rotate tires without a balancing tires. This tech needs to be trained or fired. Terrible place to go of you respect your time and wallet. I had a year warranty from a different store (which can be honored at any store) for an alignment. When I showed up they said due to my truck being lifted, this store claimed i should've never been sold this warranty since my truck is lifted. They proceeded to make me pay for an alignment and they weren't even able to get it in spec after 3 hours of "trying" to align it. Not only was the truck not aligned correctly they then made me pay for it.. even with my warranty. I then took it to the shop that sold me the warranty and they honored it and said this shop was lying to me so they could just sell me another alignment (assuming so the front desk guy can get his commission). After having an unexpected blowout, and an unusually sized tire and calling around to numerous other retailers, this store had my tires in stock and extremely high provided great customer service. They went out of the way to ensure I was taken care of in a prompt and timely manner, especially since it was close to the end of the day. That really spoke volumes that they were trying to keep me in my car, And make the best of a bad situation. Zyir (not sure if I spelled that right) is a great service advisor. Yesterday, I came in to have a tire repaired and he refused due to the tread depth of the tire. I appreciate that he put safety above the sale. As I did end up getting 4 new tires elsewhere after doing some research. But I do appreciate the honesty of this shop.
