Firestone on 434 in Longwood is my “go to” for routine maintenance and tire needs for my vehicle. It is easy to make an appointment, and they get me in and out quickly. Also, as a female, sometimes I feel like auto repair places will try to upsell or recommend repairs that are not needed. I have never had them pressure me or recommend services that were not needed. Highly recommend!

I purchased 4 new tires for my SUV the sales associate found me a better deal that cost me 100 less and included an alignment. I was very pleased, and they finished my car sooner than expected!

I've meant to write this for a while. It was last spring, my teenage daughter was in Longwood, 45 minutes from home, and her car told her it was low on oil so I told her to find the nearest Firestone and go there. She did. She was told they performed an oil change and charged her for it. A few months later the same alert comes on her dash, and this time we were at home so I had my mechanic come over and check it out. He then did an oil change on her car and he said that the reason the oil was leaking was because the drain plug was put in improperly and was damaged. AND when he took off the oil filter he showed it to me and said, "This is not the brand Firestone uses." So see we have some options as to what happened, don't we? Either all they did was top off the oil and charged my daughter

Went in for tire repair to have a screw removed. I advised Eric that I might be close to low tread readings and may need tires as it was recommended as a watch closely item during a recent oil change at same location. Eric checked and advised, though close to needing replacements, that I may be able to wait for another 5,000 miles. The screw was removed at no charge since I had purchased road hazard protection. I was greatly appreciative of Eric’s honesty and integrity and not just trying to convince me to purchase tires now - as other reps has done previously at a different Firestone location.

Make sure to check your tires with a torque wrench after your service. I got a flat and had to change one. It was torqued over 150lbs and one was cross threaded and broke to make my life even easier…Car only calls for 80lbs. Checked the other side, same thing, over torqued. Thankfully I didn’t snap a lug on that side. Now I have to remove the entire spindle, knuckle and bearing out to just change the stud.
