Firestone of Durango

Have used Firestone for repairs three times. Every time they were able to see me the same day. The work was excellent and professional. They took the time to explain my options and issues that may come up in the Future. I would highly recommend Firestone for any repairs or tires.

Well, I went in for an alignment, I was told my front suspension was so out of spec that it all needed to be replaced before they could do an alignment. I’m on a long road trip so I don’t have many options. I agree to it all as I need to keep moving through mountains. A day and a half and thousands of dollars later, I’m told I’m good. I continue traveling. Immediately, the truck is still pulling to the right. Today I just had to get my truck aligned again. Makes me wonder how much of what they sold me was really needed. On another note, they caught a major brake issue that was fixed, but they only had the more expensive rotors available immediately.

I had a head lamp bulb out and was able to get an appointment last minute. The employees stayed later than their closing time o get it replaced. The cover was difficult coming off to get to the bulb. I am thankful they could fix it. I was able to see to get home.

My wife and the kids were up for the weekend when our Tahoe pushed a spark plug out of the cylinder. The guys at Durango FS were very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job retapping and helix coil the spark plug threads. Great staff at a great price. These guys are who you should go too if you break down anywhere near or in Durango. Brandon Mathein New River Az

I scheduled a front-end alignment a week in advance for 7:30 a.m. on a Friday and rearranged my day to make the appointment. I received multiple reminder texts — including two the morning of — confirming the time. However, when I arrived, I was told the alignment machine was down and they would not be able to work on my truck. It’s understandable that equipment issues can happen, but I find it hard to believe the machine went down right at 7:30 a.m. A quick phone call before to let me know would have saved time and inconvenience. Ironically, I even received another reminder text about my appointment just a few minutes after leaving. This is just a complete lack of customer service on the shops part.
