First Choice Automotive

First Choice offered to pickup and return my pristine 2003 Mach 1 for $1400 from Florida to Louisiana to have a rebuild of my lower rotating assembly. In addition to sending my transmission to another shop for synchro repair. James suggested that his shop could add a new clutch, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing and flywheel. It took nearly 8 months to complete and we agreed that these 2 things could be done for a budget of $8400 including the transit. James the owner only sent me 4 receipts in total for labor and invoices for the machine shop and transmission shop. Then without permission he charged me for Window repairs and alignment. Then without any receipt he refused to send the car back until I paid an additional $2300 and I had to pay a 3rd party transport company another $700 to ge

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I took my vehicle there to get my air fixed. First they said it would be done that same day. Lies. It was there for 5 days. Get it back just for the air to go out that same evening. (200 something dollars) pretty sure they just put some freon in and that was it. I call them back they said I needed some parts bring the vehicle back, so I did I told them I needed it done by a certain day because I was going out of town and they promised it would be done and all fixed. Long story short it was not done I had to get a rental. Nearly $600 for that transaction still not fixed. I was furious I asked around after those 2 experiences and everytime I would bring up 1st choice to anyone in the auto mechanic industry they would all say the same thing. These people

This has to be my favorite shops in town. They are honest and get the job done. I took my truck in during the holidays and he was able to still fix it just after Christmas. They kept me updated on the work, called me when they needed to order a part, called me when it came in and put it in and sent me home the day it arrived. They are friendly and knew a bunch of information about my truck before I even came into the shop. If your looking for the job done right, this is the place for you.

These people are horrible. They changed out my fuel pump and knock sensors. It was running worse than before after they've done their work. I told him about it they told me to bring it back. I did and they told me my plugs and wires were bad. So I paid for them to change the plugs and wires. It was running even worse than before after they've done their work. I took it 2 Walker Toyota. They checked it out in the plugs were broke from the First Choice mechanic putting in. The knock sensor for smashed and be intake manifold gasket was improperly installed. This was the most horrible experience I ever had with a automotive place first choice is not the place that you want to do business with.

Absolutely the worse service I have ever received. Kept my 2016 mustang for over 2 weeks without even touching it. Don't bother calling because no one answers the phone and if someone does answer expect Mike who is more clueless than Stacy Dash. It took three weeks to get an invoice and estimate to repair my vehicle. During the wait I contacted several shops in the area as well as priced the part at $300. The max I was told was $1200 which in itself is highway robbery . I'll be damn if 1st choice didn't qoute me at $1700 for "labor" for a freaking clutch replacement. To add injury to insult...when I went there to tow my car to a more suitable location, these MFS had the audacity to charge me$150 for their service which included a diagnosis.
