Five Star Car Wash

I was charged $10 for about two minutes not even enough time to soap up my vehicle. The card reader wouldn’t work to get it restarted. Very disappointed…left with half a soapy car.

I will pay 75 cents more than all other local car washes, seems like they have a handle on a good rinse that doesn't leave water spots ,from soap residue ,when dry !!would be handy to have flexible wands ,to get better undercarriage spraying...

Maybe I am easily amused, but the experience of a stationary Disneyland ride in my own car and minimal work involved made the few bucks more for the automated self-service wash worth it over the wash-it-yourself model! You should come equipped with rags to wipe it dry though, and to get the last stubborn bits of dirt off.

EDIT: I went to Flood Zone, it was only $2 for more time and all of the self services were operational. Both times visited Five Star I spent $5 and the foaming brushes wouldn't work. Waste of time and $

The sign inside the bays said $2.50 but my card was charged $10. The vacuums don’t turn on when the appropriate amount of money is put in. So it charged me $12.50 to RINSE my car and and not vacuum it apparently because the vacuum just never turned on, coin return wouldn’t spit my quarters back out. And there’s no phone number to call. This explains why. Literal highway robbery.
