This is my go to spot for all my vehicles. The owner George is an honest friendly, and reliable guy. I live in Culver City and drive out to pasadena because I trust him. When you find a mechanic like this you stick with him. His prices are great and he always figires out what the problem is. I'm pretty handy with a wrench and problem solving but, when I'm stumped George always has the answers. I highly recommend you take your car here for Smog and mechanical needs. Please support their business during this crisis so we don't lose yet another invaluable service run by professionals! I have been getting all my cars smogged with George for years and years because I know I can trust him. I was sad to learn that they had to close the shop on Overland in Dec 2020 but the Pasadena shop is much better, nice comfy waiting room. It's not a problem to drive out there from the Westside as the older cars need to run 30 miles hot to pass the smog anyway with the new tighter emissions threshold. Cousin Vick told me exactly what to do to pass, and indeed it did. As "car guys" they are also great mechanics and can fix not only emissions issues but whatever else might be wrong too.
