I’m a Contractor from Martinsville VA I recently moved to Clemmons I have an older work truck w/electrical issues and I heard this place was reputable! Set an appointment mid July for Aug 4th, Just picked my truck up Aug 28th it hadn’t been touched or looked at. I called several times no answer. And nobody ever called me to update me on any issues. To make a long story long- I went back I asked for my keys the truck it had high grass under it from where it’s been sitting so I cranked it up and left. I’m sure it had nothing to do with me being Black but they must be extremely busy so if you need work done in a timely manner I wouldn’t advise.

I have been using this business for all of my cars services for 10 years. I trust them! They were recommended by my neighbor who has used them even longer.

Great local auto care. Like all places Auto Care is expensive. So really no big price breaks here. However I feel like they do not over inflate their labor rate. But you always run the risk with any establishment on labor rates. Best thing to do is Google it and see what the averages are. Also you can call Monk's Tire Center, and Martin's mechanics to check on estimates. This gives you assurance that you are getting a good deal . Never be afraid to get written estimates. Found this mechanic to be very reliable and did the work at prices quoted. Very good at speed of work. Very clean business. Cost-effectiveness is about average with other businesses I checked. Myself and my family have had nothing but good to say about Darin since my family started using him about 5 years ago. However, seems that when he goes on vacation his whole crew decides they apparently cannot handle the workload and severely lack communication skills. On top of that rather than fixing the initial issue that I brought the car in for they “fixed” the starter (tightened the Bolts) without bothering to call and confirm anything with me and then proceeded to charge me $150 worth of labor…. Needless to say I got stuck with a bill and the issue that I initially took my car in for is still not fixed after having the vehicle for 2 weeks. Would definitely recommended as long as the owner Darin is there however if he is not then GOOD LUCK.
