Forest Hills Commons

My aunt has been thriving since arriving to this facility. She has been here for almost a month and we have noticed a huge increase in her spirits, and even weight! The staff truly cares for the people and it shows. She also sings the praises of the food! The process was easy with furnishings through help with the furniture place across the street. The mattress guy helped me find things and got them delivered in 2 days! This helped her transition be that much easier. Thank you for the help with her.

Can not say enough about what I have seen since the new Executive Director and Director of Nursing have started. Those guys are making it happen. I know my family members are safe and well taken care. There was nothing like getting a call from the Director of nursing, John, telling me they had a full team in every department including management spending the night ready for the snowstorm. John took that worry away. Forest Hills Commons has been the best decision my family has made.

There were many promises made when my parents moved to Forest Hills Commons but they only lasted a short while. The caregivers are few and far between. There are not enough servers in the dining room, not to mention the food quality is horrible. While all services are in the toilet, they are raising the cost again. The bottom line is the management only cares about profit so all services suffer. They pay the staff literally nothing and they can’t keep them. Anyway, we moved my mom out today.

Our family has had a great experience situating Dad into Forest Hills Commons. All the staff (everyone!) has been kind and caring with us. Dad is gregarious and has had so much fun at the activities, the dining room and interacting with his carers. The food is delicious, varied and nutritious. We do love that the chefs come out to the tables to chat with the residents. The activities are well thought out, whether at or away from the facility with bus transportation, and dad particularly enjoys the musicians. As a family who wants to see Dad getting living his best life, we feel that we have struck gold! Thank you to everyone at FHC.

My mom has been a resident at Forest Hills Commons for almost 2 years. She lives in the Memory Care Community and has thrived. The staff in Memory Care truly care about their residents. They have special events, live music, arts & crafts and decorate the memory care unit for every single occasion. The Director of Nursing and staff spend a lot of time making these residents feel special. I am truly grateful. Shannon
