Supporting local, it's what we need to do more often, like going to a smaller local muffler shop. With our current situation of being a car down and then having my son's car, an older Ford Explorer, get an exhaust leak, it was a gut punch with timing. When you go to a locally owned shop, you're meeting with the owner and you know the treatment you receive is top-notch. Ed at Frankfort Muffler was just that, top-notch! He set expectations right off the bat. No overpromising and underdelivering! He was hopeful he could do a smaller repair instead of replacing the entire run and muffler which would have been more money. Yes. You read that right! He did work to do a smaller repair instead of just going into a huge repair. That is extremely telling about the kind of business he runs, honest!

Great small business, the owner knows about cars and charges very reasonable prices. I always take my car to him because he won't rip you off. No charge cards taken , cash preferred.

Ed, who owns Frankfort Muffler & Auto Repair, is a long time, very experienced auto mechanic. He knows his stuff! He has been at the Frankfort, IL location since 1991, and prior to that he worked for a few other auto repair businesses. Today, January 30, 2024, Ed replaced an exhaust flex pipe on my Toyota Camry. He did a great job, and now the engine, which had been very loud, is running much quieter. I am happy that I found Frankfort Muffler & Auto Repair.

Ed was able to get my car in 1 day and done the next. Very friendly and did awesome work for a very reasonable price. Plan on going back if ever a need be.
