It was a little after 1 pm on a Saturday and we had just driven through a storm where we hydroplaned worse than I ever have in my life. At that point we pulled off the road in A little town named Cuba, NM. As a man was pulling away from Freddy’s Tire shop( he was closed for the day)I flagged him down and he returned to his shop and sold us new tires to keep us safe. Thank you Freddy! The man was absolutely amazing for helping some people from Tennessee. Far from home and didn’t know anyone. He sold us the tires and installed them and put a very good price we were on the road again.

Got stranded with a flat tire and no help at all from Triple A. Called Freddy's and two of the kindest gentlemen arrived in their truck to save the day. Despite not having the right tire for my car, they searched the town and found a sufficient tire. They let my parents and I ride with them in their truck to get out of the cold rain on the side of a busy highway and were very accommodating. When all was said and done, they didn't ask for any money and instead only charged what we wanted to give them. We were in a truly desperate spot far away from the nearest town, but thanks to Freddy's, we were back on the road in no time.

This man saved us on 550 North of Cuba in the reservation. We had a tire slashed by a knife on the road, a weird freak accident. Stuck 7 miles North and with a language barrier Carlos got his friend Reuben to handle the language barrier. He brought us off the side of the road back to his shop to hopefully find a used tire to fit. Failing that he took us to his competitors to find a suitable replacement and then after some difficulty mounted and balanced the tire and re installed the tire all within 3 hours. We're far from home on an adveture and this while being an unfortunate detour was a bright spot in human compassion and dedication to service. We will be forever grateful for Carlos and Reuben and there care for us. Thank you both.

I had a screw in my rental. Hertz said the closest place was over 90 miles away. Freddys came recommended. Though he doesn’t take card only cash there was a Wells Fargo a block away. I was in and out in 15 minutes and at a fair price of $20.

Says they open at 8am, it is currently 10am and no one is here. I’ve called multiple times and it goes straight to voicemail every time. Stranded in a small town with a flat tire. Completely unreliable. Even a small business near them said not to go to this tire shop.
