I had applied for a car online to make sure I didn't just drive (2 hours comute) and not know what was my buying power or any surprises. I got approved, scheduled a visit and went for my new car (used). Well when got there, the agent that we made the appointment was not there and the car that we went for wasn't either (we were told it didn't pass the smoke). There were some employees that when they sow us suggested we should buy a car they were looking at (horrible car, bad paint job and almost 100000 miles) I felt offended. We had a great experience buying from Fremont Hyundai. Krish welcomed us in and helped us buy our Ford Explore Sport. He was very informative and genuinely polite, he sold us the car we drove 2 hours specifically to buy. After helping us he was then seen running all over the lot helping customers, getting vehicles washed, detailed and filled up with gas. This young man was on a roll. Manager Ryan was very honest and forward, there was a minor issue and he made us aware of it right away, he was very helpful when it came time to communicate with the banks for finance approvals. He got the job done! At the end of the buying process we met with their finance to sign the finishing paperwork. I had such a wonderful experience when I bought my brand new car four months ago. I truly believed this was a trustworthy and professional place, and I left feeling confident about my purchase. Unfortunately, today completely changed that impression. After only four months, my car would not even start because of a battery issue. This is extremely disappointing, especially considering the car was sold to me as new. A battery should not be almost dead after such a short period of time. It raises serious concerns about the quality checks done before selling the vehicle. What upset me even more was the way the situation was handled. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience or apologizing for selling a car with what appears to have been a failing battery, I was asked to sign a bill for $285.

After another dealer disappointed due to dishonesty, I found a GMC truck I wanted at Fremont Hyundai. Krish answered the phone when I called, gave me straight answers to my questions, and I decided to hop in an Uber from Sacramento to go buy the truck. It was exactly as he advertised, except the floor mats were missing, and I was disappointed there was just one key Fob (the listing said there WERE floor mats, but didn't mention the key fob).
