Fremont Smog Test Only

The owner and his sons provide fast, friendly, and highly knowledgeable smog check service. Our family has been loyal customers for years and consistently receives excellent care. We especially appreciate that they’re open on weekends, which is incredibly convenient given our busy schedules. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and hassle-free smog testing.

Called in today to find out how much for a smog check they asked me the year make and model . I gave them the information and then they asked if it requires to be done at a star station or not. I said it does. Then he’s like for star it’s extra. I asked why he said it’s more involved test and it takes more time. . . The machines used to the smog check are the same and the process is the same no matter what vehicle. There is absolutely no difference in equipment or inspection process but they want to charge extra. I wouldn’t recommend this shop because of that. I was literally in the parking lot ready to go ask him to show me what’s the difference in testing procedures. Hopefully the b.a.r puts a stop to this charging extra for star station requirements. Also I’ve called the b.a.r to file

Came here Wed morning around 11AM. 2 cars waiting before me so I took a walk in the small park opposite the street. Overall it took about 25 mins to get my car done. Very nice staffs and quick service with very reasonable cost. Definitely come back again for my next smog check.

The shop is run by an old, sweet, gentle man. I called needing a last minute smog check and they let me come in within 30 minutes notice. It was my first time ever getting a smog check and they were super kind and very efficient. I went in and left within 15-20 minutes. They accept walk in on the weekends which are super helpful!

They do the test fast and paperwork is easy making the whole process go smooth.
