Friendship Manor

Nice, over the years I been told the residents now have the option of trips.

While I personally have not gone inside an apartment here, I can vouch for their facilities. Every Wednesday, they have the official Santa Barbara Chess Club meet, and I walk thought the pool area and meet in the dining hall. The pool is pristine and very well maintained, and the kitchen looks excellent. Their food is incredible(I have seen others enjoy it) and the staff is very kind. I can tell that the people there are in a very close knit community, and I would highly recommend that, if you are considering moving into an elderly home, you consider Friendship Manor.

My dear friend spent her final years at Friendship Manor. She wanted to live independently, but was unable to take care of a home or cook for herself any longer. Friendship Manor prolonged her independence and really helped make her last years happy ones. It's not a high end, tony place, but it's well run, the food is good and the staff is really wonderful. The facilities are basic, but well cared for and there's a heated pool, which is very good for arthritic joints. All in all, I give Friendship Manor a five out of five. And they have quite a good library and a movie theater!

The pricing is good. People are nice. Not easy to move into to, but the rent should make up for it.

I live there, I get really good sleep. No complaints. Good people. Great staff.
