We have been going to Garrins for six years. We recently had an appointment in the morning for a fuel injection service flush, also asked for an oil change, and also asked them to look into why the car maintenance light was on. We got the car back over 7 hours later. Not sure why it took so long. We spoke over the phone about 5 hours in, and they later said we had agreed to a tire rotation when we spoke over the phone (I don't remember agreeing to that, as we always get it done for free at Discount Tire; my memory is that they said the tire rotation had already been done, and they were just getting started on the oil change). I went into Garrins Automotive today to have my brakes looked at on my car because they were not sounding good and this shop had been highly recommended from a friend. I appreciated that when I called them they had very kind customer service and said yes come in right away we can make time for you. They looked at my car and got back to me very quickly about the work that needed to be done. I appreciated how quick they were. I was told back brakes were metal on metal which I figured with the sound I was hearing and fixing those would cost about $700 but my front brakes were pretty much in the exact same spot and I had maybe a millimeter till I needed those replaced as well. That didn’t fix the issue, so we took the car to Garrin’s Automotive. They came back with the same diagnosis. They said the brand new coil was bad and spark plugs needed to be replaced.
