Gary's Automotive

I can't speak highly enough of Gary's automotive services. Though I now live 2+ hours away in Ann Arbor, I refuse to let anyone else service my manual VW Beetle and always make the drive for any maintenance needs. He has kept Little Red running as well as when I first first got her 11 years ago. His services are honest, reasonable, always delivered with kindness and care - truly one of a kind.

They've been taking care of my VW for 7 years. Easy to work with. Never recommended unnecessary work. Gary's is a great shop. Honest trustworthy mechanics.

This place is, phenomenal. Bring a Volkswagen here and it will likely run like new. Oil changes, Normal Maintenance, Lubricants; all are done extremely well. Gary is a great owner of this shop, he has great employees who get the job done correctly and efficiently for a reasonable price.

Let me start by saying I have purchased 3 vehicles from Gary's Automotive in the last 3 years, and I bring every vehicle I own to him anytime I need repairs. I bought a 2008 VW rabbit, 4 door, 2.5 (black), a 2002 VW Passat fully loaded 1.8T (silver), and a 2005 VW GTI 1.8T (silver)... Pictures attached. Every single vehicle has been trustworthy, clean, and ran very smooth. You can tell he takes care of the vehicles he plans on selling! He has also done work on our vehicles and has footed the cost a number of times.. which is rare for mechanics! Gary's is by far my favorite shop I've ever used for service. I usually do all of my own repairs as I have high expectations and want only the best for my cars. He recently worked on my Audi Q5 and I couldn't be happier with the results. Pricing was great and his timing was perfect. I'll never use any other shop for anything, including lesser jobs like oil changes, wipers .... And both Gary and his staff are super nice people and make you feel welcome. Thanks Gary!
