My daughter and boyfriend broke down on the highway 8 hours away from home on New Year's Eve. Gary was busy with other customers but still arrived within the hour. He diagnosed the radiator needed replacement, called around and found one in stock. He picked up the new radiator and actually replaced it on the side of the road, saving towing costs and time. He made sure everything was running in good order before sending them on their way in a few hours. I can't recommend Gary's garage enough, professional friendly service at a reasonable cost. On a recent trip to Blue Ridge, GA, to celebrate the New Year with my family, my truck's radiator decided that a Walmart parking lot in Ellijay was far enough. I was unable to find a tow, and even if I had, I couldn't find a shop with the staff available to even look at my truck. A good Samaritan stopped to lend a hand and recommended Gary's Garage Mobile Service. Gary responded quickly, secured the parts, replaced the radiator, and had me back on the road within a few hours. The cost was very reasonable, and the service was outstanding. I spend about 50% of my time in Blue Ridge and believe I've found my long-term Blue Ridge mechanic. Gary was a true professional. My truck broke down in the middle of the mtns east of cherry log , I called a tow truck company and they recommended a mobile mechanic. I am not going to lie I was nervous but the people that recommended him thought highly of Gary . He showed up when he said he would and got straight to work. 1 hour or so my truck was running . Gary was great!! We’re so glad we found him. My family (including kids and in-laws) were staying in a cabin in Ellijay on vacation, when we ran into car trouble. Luckily, with a friend’s help, we were able to diagnose the problem over night, but needed to find someone on a Saturday to fix it. We had to get back home to FL the next day!! I was able to get the part ordered early morning from the local O’Reilly’s (they were great too), to be there by noon. No local auto mechanics were open on the weekend, especially since it was Apple Festival. I was so stressed trying to figure out how to get this resolved. I started calling around to find a mechanic.
