Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City

This place is amazing, soo many beautiful classics to choose from. Its like a museum where you can buy the artwork. Just no touching. Only drawback is not being able to test drive....I can understand that though.

I recently purchased a 1966 Mustang from Gateway. I ended up with exactly the type of car that I was looking for and it ended up being even better than advertised! Randy was great and the people at Gateway went the extra mile to make the purchase as easy as possible. I would definitely recommend Gateway Classic Cars to anyone looking for their dream car.

Mar and April 2024 Update! Way WAY too many vendor booths taking up car parking spots...(I mean really, I figure it's a way for Gateway to make a few bucks, but how many people go to these events to buy jewelry???) June 2024 Update! NO VENDORS TODAY! Lots of parking spaces for cars and motorcycles!! A great place to visit for Cars and Coffee once a month! The event has really grown, so if you're wanting to display your ride, suggest getting there WELL ahead of the 9am start time. (last time I attended there was no where to park my classic ride, but still had a great time looking at other folks vehicles, as well as looking at all of the classic cars for sale inside)

DO NOT PURCHASE HERE! I bought a supposed clean title 86 square body Chevy that turned out to be a SALVAGED 83 GMC. Chassis and cab did not match like they advertised. They knowingly sold me a SALVAGED vehicle. Note* They claim that they don’t deal in any salvaged vehicles. Currently tied up in expensive litigation because they made zero effort to take responsibility for the wrongful transaction. BIG MISTAKE PURCHASING FROM GATEWAY. REPLY 8/24* I contacted Kayla at “Corporate” prior to posting this review in the first place. On your behalf she offered to resell the vehicle for me as a salvage on consignment. Talk about a slap in the face. U have my info boss, call me and make it right or this review will stand as a warning to anyone considering purchasing from Gateway. MAKE THIS RIGHT.

This is a great place. If you want to go to an indoor car show this is the place to go. If you’re wanting to buy, the prices are somewhat reasonable
