Gene's Transmission & Muffler

I would give lower than one star if I could, had repairs done in April '25, transmission completly fell apart internally i August '25 due to bolts that were not torqued down correctly, causing an extra $3k to the original $7k worth of work. Wish I would have known he was going out of business, would have never taken my vehicle there.

Greg and his guys were easy to work with and very honest. Fixed my transfer case and transmission in one day. Very reasonable pricing, charged way less than half the estimated price. would go back again.

Gene's is awesome. They were highly recommended by two other mechanics that didn't do Transmission work. They looked at my van, explained what was needed, got me in ASAP. Price was reasonable and they were able to get my van fixed and ready for me to go on a trip. I highly recommend them.

Brought my car in today to have the transmission looked at. Greg looked over everything and couldn’t find anything wrong. What a relief that was. And even thought he spent time looking over everything he didn’t charge me anything. What a nice guy. I highly recommend this place. Very honest.
