Gens Auto and Tire

Really nice people. Locally owned shop. I brought my car in there for the first time and they took care of me like family and gave me a cheaper quote than anywhere around. Give them a try they are trustworthy and honest.

I’ve been going to Gens Auto for a while now, and honestly, I wouldn’t trust my vehicles with anyone else. They’ve done everything automotive for me and every single time, the service has been top-notch. When it comes to finding a good mechanic, trust is everything. You have to be able to count on your mechanic and being upfront and honest is what these people are all about. They’re the most genuine, nicest folks you’ll ever meet. They don’t try to upsell you, they just take care of what needs to be done and make sure it’s done right. It’s rare these days to find a shop that treats you like family, but that’s exactly what they do.

My girlfriend and have been taking all our vehicles to Gen's before it became Gen's. They lost our business. We took her car there because it was having problems starting, they couldn't figure it out after being there twice. If it's not throwing a code they don't want to mess with it. I figured it out and fixed it myself and I'm no mechanic. And the guy working the front desk has no people skills what so ever. If questioned he gets smart with you. He yelled at a lady for not closing the door. Told my girlfriend that the car would have to break down before they can do anything. I will take my vehicles 200 miles to a shop before I bring it back here.

Have had nothing but great experiences with them. I have gone to them since I’ve had my first car. Extremely friendly and welcoming. They don’t try and upsell, coming from a woman. Whatever needs to be done will get done!

The most EXCESSIVE bs prices I've ever seen. Almost $800 to get my oil changed, my tires rotated, a rear tire sensor changed, and my brakes replaced. Ain't no way. I can promise you I'm NEVER coming back. Not to mention never being told they'd have my car overnight. So when I saw it was 530 and never got a hey you can pickup your car call the day before I was like oh cool guess I just don't have a car another day without warning. ******Edit: After said review I got a call from the shop stating how I "Should have said something at the store." and how they had a KNOWN glitch in the system and my bill was overcharged because of it. While I did receive back $146 I still feel I was severely over charged. Granted this number is much closer to reasonable. I do, however want to note that my tire
