George's Garage

George was a friend of my grandfather when I was a kid and I grew up around his shop. My mother and family have gone to him our whole lives and there is no one I trust more.

Highly recommend. I’m not from the area but my car broke down and I needed a starter. My son in law asked his father as my insurance company said they would only tow within ten miles. He said George’s is a little further but the only one he knew that he wouldn’t hesitate to suggest. They were professional from start to finish and did not perform any service without asking me and explaining in detail first. The price was fair and reasonable and the work was done quickly.

Stand-up guy. Get the job done. Never have to worry.

We are EXTREMELY upset and do NOT recommend George’s to anyone, especially senior citizens and anyone without experience in automobile maintenance. He came highly recommended, so my boyfriend brought his mother’s car to be looked at. He was told the muffler had a large crack in it, and an oil leak. His estimate was over $1000, and this seemed very sketchy. My boyfriend’s brother is a professional mechanic and he gave him a call. When his brother also said this was an astronomical estimate, we brought the car to another local garage. Their estimate was HALF as much as George’s, and the car was repaired in a timely manner. We had a wonderful experience at the second mechanic’s and are so glad we looked into it. Shame on you, George’s!!

George was highly recommend by friends of mine in the area. I always do my own car repairs but I am moving to California and needed my AC system repaired. George went the extra mile for me and got my car in to be fixed last minute when he was very busy. He was upfront and honest about the quality of parts and costs associated. He came in right at estimate and there were no surprises. He communicated well during the whole process and was super friendly and professional! All this for a customer who he knows is moving away. I can't recommend him more! Thank you George!!
