I took my vehicle to Gerald’s Transmission and I am beyond impressed. The line of communication was top notch, the service was extremely thorough and prompt and they were so friendly! I now know that if I ever need work done to any of my vehicles in the future, the only place I will want to go is here! Thank you all for everything! I am so happy!

Gerald’s Transmission is a top-tier shop that sets the standard for quality, professionalism, and honesty. The team is highly knowledgeable and takes pride in their work, providing clear communication every step of the way. Estimates are accurate, turnaround times are efficient, and the quality of the repairs speaks for itself. It’s refreshing to know of a business that values integrity and customer satisfaction as much as technical expertise. If you’re looking for reliable transmission service in South Houston, Gerald’s Transmission is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommended for both personal and fleet vehicles.

Here’s a short, strong version you can post: Be very careful dealing with this shop. They charged my brother $5,000 claiming they replaced the transmission. We took the truck to another mechanic who showed us the transmission was never even opened — the screws were untouched. This is serious fraud. After being confronted, they told us to bring the truck back under “warranty.” Why would we trust you again after lying the first time? Extremely dishonest business.

Very disappointing experience. I took my vehicle to Gerald’s Transmission expecting professional service, but that’s not what I got. Communication was poor from the start, timelines kept changing, and I had to constantly follow up just to get basic updates. What really frustrated me was the lack of transparency—prices and explanations felt vague, and I didn’t feel confident the issue was properly diagnosed. After all that time and money, the problem still wasn’t resolved the way it should’ve been. I wanted to support a local shop, but this experience was stressful and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you value clear communication and dependable work.
