Yesterday evening, I drove my 2011 Ford Edge over an iced-over snow bank and accidentally ripped out the bottom of my front grill. I was afraid this would be the end of my old but beloved SUV. I easily was able to access the web site of Gerber Collision and Glass located at 8211 Snouffer School Road in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and make an appointment for the next morning. I taped up the front bottom half of the grill and limped it over to them. I was met by Mr. Alonzo Penate, who was so very courteous - a real professional. I brought my car in because I made a dent in the rear bumper when backing out of a parking spot. The bumper met the corner of a pickup truck's front bumper! Needless to say, all the damage was done to my bumper. My thought was to get the matter taken care of asap. I called Gerber and made an appointment for this morning. Usually, I will work with Anthony, but he wasn't available, so Alonzo was able to help me. I spoke with him to set up the appointment. Nobody likes to get their car repaired, it's historically like going to the dentist. But I have to say, this place did not have a bad or rude employee in the building. I spoke to at least 5 people. Super curteous, knowledgeable, and most of all, QUICK! Alonzo is the person who ended up taking my call and service ticket. I had a bad backing plate in my front left wheel and he basically diagnosed it over the phone, told me to come the same day, worked on it while I was there, and the mechanic, Delwin, fixed it in literally 5 minutes. I had a fantastic experience at Gerber Collision. I went to this shop because the hood of my car would not close. I was greeted by Anthony who was extremely, knowledgeable, kind, and professional. He inspected my vehicle right away in the parking lot and then took it around back for a closer look. After working on it for about an hour, he was able to fix the problem. I asked him how much I owed, and he told me there was no charge. I couldn’t believe it. You rarely, if ever, find that kind of service anymore. I will definitely use the services of this business in the future. I highly recommend Gerber Collision.

It was my lucky day when I was referred to Gerber Collision about a month ago for minor body repair after a neighbor reversed into my parked car. I left there smiling when I got the car back, with a bumper that was better than new. The courtesy and professionalism of the staff was exemplary. Then today I was sad to see that someone had backed into my car and left a large dent. I drove to Gerber and was met on the doorstep by a man who immediately recognized me. An hour later I left there with my smile aback in place. The dent was gone and there was no charge for the service. Thank you Gerber Collision.
