Gerber Collision & Glass

I chose this shop based on my auto insurance company’s recommendation and was initially given a two-week repair timeline. Unfortunately, that timeline was missed six times, which significantly disrupted my Christmas vacation plans. I repeatedly rearranged work schedules and transportation based on the promised completion dates, only to be told that the car was not ready. Communication throughout the process was inconsistent. On several occasions, I was told that all parts had arrived and that my car would be ready the following day. I am beyond impressed with the level of professionalism and quality delivered by Gerber Collision and Glass. My car came out of repairs looking like it just came off the factory floor. Everyone there treated me like I was a high priority client and that was so appreciated. The best part for me was the constant and consistent updates I received from Rebecca on the status of my car during the whole process. I am so grateful for all of the team members at Gerber Collision who made this frustrating situation much easier and more enjoyable than I could have ever expected. I can't recommend them enough!

They kept me updated regularly throughout the process. They returned my car in great condition with outside repairs and even cleaned the car! My only complaint is that it took a while for them to decide to fix it or passing it to another repair shop. It took them a while to fix my suspension. I do appreciate them keeping me updated every step of the way!

Tentative rating depending on how the company fixes this. I took my car in to have the windshield and mirror repaired. They called me at 340 and asked me to pick up by 5 as my car was ready. I dropped everything, got a ride, and dropped off the rental. I made it there right before close and my windshield is completely broken. Like you had two things to do and you didn’t notice the giant broken windshield?? Now I’m driving with a broken windshield as they don’t have the part and I returned the rental already…

Entire door and quarter panel replacement, paint to match. This major work was completed satisfactorily. There were 4 minor items that were incomplete when we were called "ready for pick up", a damaged element from the repair work, and a door that now rattles when we close it. Also grease, dried mud and what appeared to be salt stains on the inside of the door. The incomplete items, damage, rattle and interior cleaning should have been caught at a final QA.
