I was pleased with Gerber Collison and Auto Glass! I understand some jobs take more time and the speed of mine had to do with a lot of factors (only 1 main part that needed to be replaced on a very common car) however I was thrilled that between drop off and pickup I had my car in 48 hours. I chose this shop based on my insurance's suggestion and I am so glad I listened. I didn't expect to come back to a clean car either and was so pleased that my car looked better than new! Eli was great and explained things thoroughly to me before they took my car as well as upon pickup. As a business owner myself, I appreciate great customer service and this team truly had excellent customer service!
As a business owner, I really appreciate when another company delivers great service, clear communication, and fast results — and Gerber Collision absolutely did. They were recommended by my insurance as a preferred shop, and they exceeded expectations. Their customer service was professional, the repair turnaround was quick, and the quality of work was excellent. The app updates made it easy to stay informed throughout the process. Even though it was just a minor fender bender, they handled it efficiently and made it completely hassle-free. I’m very impressed and will gladly recommend Gerber to others.
We were rear ended and insurance sent us to Gerber. We had many questions about possible options since our car was paid for. Mike, their estimator, answered our questions and gave a lot of good information to make the best choice for us. I brought my car to Gerber Collision & Glass on August 19 based on a recommendation from my insurance company. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. For the first eight days, no work was done—and when I called to check in, I was told they didn’t even know my car was there. The next day I called again and I said I'm taking my car elsewhere, I was suddenly told it had already been taken apart, which felt dishonest given the timing. The repair stretched out until September 26, and each time I called, the estimated completion date was pushed back. Communication was inconsistent, and I often had to initiate contact just to get basic updates. When I finally got my car back, the detailing was sloppy and unprofessional. I had to pay out of pocket to have it properly cleaned.
My experience with Gerber Collision was mixed. I appreciated the text message updates letting me know when my car was being worked on, and both the front desk lady and Eli were very nice and helpful when I asked about getting into a vehicle while mine was being repaired. However, my main frustration was how long the process took — it was about a month and a half before my car was ready. There was also a lot of miscommunication whenever I called for updates, and I often felt left in the dark about what was going on. When I finally came to pick up my car, it wouldn’t start, and I had to wait around 15–20 minutes for help.
