Long story short. My insurance company did some very last minute changes to my quote and some lost in translation/ just plain old bad luck communication flubs playing triangle telephone which was more so on the insurance side. But none the less I’m happy with the way things came out and Gerber in temple worked with us to make it right and the truck looks outstanding. Advice to the customers if your working with insurance keep up the communication with them and don’t let them make changes with out your knowledge. I feel like the insurance companies could do better at communicating and not leaving everything to the App and Ai to take care of.

Their customer service was outstanding, and their communication (twice a week) throughout the entire repair process was clear, consistent, and professional. Took my 2026 Honda to Gerber Collision in Temple as the prior experience was excellent. This time did not go as well as expected. Dropped the SUV off fairly early on a Tuesday morning and was told that updates are sent out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Called on Thursday afternoon and was told that some of the parts were in and that the tentative date for completion was Tuesday. Late Friday, I receive a call that it’s completed and ready for pickup. I leave my house a little after 5:00 pm. The traffic on the highway is bumper to bumper. I still need to drop off the rental car and Gerber closes at 5:30 pm. I call them back and let them know it will be Monday. They have already told the insurance company that the car is repaired. Took it to them because I was in a car accident and they were in network with Progressive. When I got the car back after a month, the door wasn’t plugged in so the lock/unlock buttons didn’t work. The mirror came off and the head light needed to be adjusted. Very minor issues that were slightly over looked. They “fixed” the issues. I got it back the same day and immediately noticed the mirror wasn’t set properly. It’s hitting the bottom of the frame so I can’t adjust it. The manager told me it wasn’t really his fault and that they would only repair it if I paid for it. My insurance cut them a check for the part. But let’s talk about the door panel that was forced closed. My clips are broken. All around the panel it’s open. But hey that’s not the worst thing. I thought I had an oil leak. N
