German Auto Repair

I had my brakes serviced at German Auto Repair in 2022 on my. At the time, the service was billed as a full brake replacement. Recently, after having my vehicle inspected by two independent certified mechanics, it was confirmed that only the brake pads were replaced, the rotors were never replaced as stated. I have reached out to the shop for clarification and a copy of the original invoice, but have not yet received a satisfactory resolution. Be aware that the service you are paying for may not have been fully performed.

Completely disappointed in the outcome of bringing my car to the shop after almost $10,000 in repairs. Although they were able to resolve the issue with the ride airbags and the communication on the main computer, when I picked up my vehicle, there was more issues with the vehicle than when I dropped it off. The AC no longer works, which it was in working condition when I dropped it off. The right height adjustment was working when I brought it to them now it no longer works, the battery continuously dies and I had no issues with it before I dropped it off and I just replace the battery. There was a broken locking mechanism on the headlight of my GERMAN car… I gave them upwards of 2k and had to come back about it 3 times and it still pops all the way out even if I just drive it up the block. They are comically over priced… like when ppl talk about how mechanics are liars this is who they’re talking about on top of that they disrespectful as hell. Go legit anywhere else.

Chuck, Arnie & Reynaldo... along with other employees & staff make for a WONDERFUL TEAM in my humble opinion. My check engine light came on. My normal mechanic was out of pocket, I’m sure due to COVID-19, the Lord ordered my steps and I made it to German Auto Repair. I guess this will be my “new normal” (when I have to have repairs made that is 😊😊😊) I called the shop, Chuck answered the call, he addressed my concerns & provide all the information I needed to make an informed decision regarding upcoming repairs. My first visit was a good experience. The only issue I had was my extended warranty paid for the service & labor to change the part that needed to be replaced. However, they charged me additional labor to get to the part and additional cost for free on. Which cost additional $800 I didn’t like that because the cost to repair the original part was $800 so I paid double and felt I was getting ripped off. Now I just go to the dealership till I can find another repair shop.
