Gettel Hyundai of Lakewood Service

Oh where do I begin. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a dealership. Ive been driving over 60 years so I’m well aware of how things go. It’s how they should go. Signed up for simple oil change, fluid top off, rotate tires etc. Jerrel Weaver said there were 2 recalls they could do as well. He also said that filtration system needed upgrade. I reviewed the estimate and realized he was charging for the oil change, even though we added that coverage when we purchased the vehicle. That was $100 overcharge. The When i questioned him he said he had to go to a different screen to see that. Well hello, i don’t know how your system works but it shouldn’t be that difficult to call up vin # to see all that’s necessary for an accurate quote. I had a 10:30 appointment and was

If there was an option for zero stars that would be more appropriate for their “service” dept. I addressed my concerns Regarding the inadequate work that was done prior to leaving the service department after spending almost 7 hours there Waiting for what? Should’ve been. A three hour promised service window. I emailed the service managers without response after a week and have since emailed the General manager without response.

I needed some general service work along with having my horn fixed. Normally to fix the horn, it requires leaving the car for a couple of days. Due to my circumstances and my willingness to wait as long as needed, my service advisor James Marko, went above and beyond, working with the service department to take care of all my service the same day as my appointment. I am so grateful and impressed with the level of compassion and customer service the employees of Gettel Hyundai of Lakewood extended to me. I was greeted promptly; when I met my advisor, he was very polite, took my odometer reading, photos of my car, and guided me to the reception /waiting area, which was clean; had coffee and snacks. I was kept informed of how things were going. My chief "concerns" were: when I agreed to the brake fluid flush, it took much longer than I was told; I had also explained and presented that I had 2 coupons that I requested be applied; they were not at checkout; then I had to ask again....; I also at the very beginning was not told about the complimentary car wash which I really would have liked but I was already at your dealership over 3 hours. My other complaint is that upon leaving, it is very complicated to get out of your dealership! Your dealership is much closer than where I purchased my
