Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service

Late afternoon we were taking our camper out for a weekend. Me wife lost his brother on the Tuesday so we both needed some solitude. As I checked the air pressure in the camper tires, I found one valve stem leaking air. I call the Lewistown mt Point S shop, and was told to bring it down. A Technician quickly removed the tire, replaced the valve stem, and had the tire back on the camper very quickly. When I asked what do we owe you, he said nothing, that this one is on me. He said go camping. He was very kind, and caring. It made our entire weekend. We are so thankful to Point S, and to the great staff that work there.

Ross and I were on the 1st day of a 5 to 6 week road trip when we had a blowout. We sent the night in Harlowton and called several tire shops from Harlowton to Billings to Lewistown. Gill S Point was the only one that had 6 tires in stock and they were able to get them mounted and balanced and installed same day. They are very accommodating. We highly recommend them.

Gary Cline in his review stated he believes they tech intentionally sent his son home with flat tires damaging equipment. I am communicating what appears to be a similar situation Ijust spent 1500 asking them to do as much preventive maintenance as possible in front end. Tires started showing abnormal wear so I returned asking them to diagnose a tap, and re do alignment. Tech charged for alignment and said he had adjusted for tap. Unfortunately I was forced to go to two separate shops as I was traveling. Both indicated alignment was not possible as their were needed repairs. I pointed out to point s that these repairs were for brand new items they had just replaced. Several questions at this ☝️ point. Did you in fact replace the parts? Why do they need replaced now? Caught a flat tire at 2am in my rental minivan just outside of town. Tow truck took me here to wait until they opened to get it fixed (Chrysler Pacifica has no spare tire!!). Shop opened at 7:55am (5 minutes early). Staff was very courteous and professional. Even though they seemed to be having a busy morning, they had my tire off my vehicle within 10 minutes and I was happily on my way by 8:30am. Price was also very reasonable - great experience overall!
