Had to leave at least one start to post this...but, be assured, this business doesn't deserve even the one...best advice I can give is GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The two nice things that can be said is that the paint finish work performed by this shop is fairly good, and they are close to my home. That said, every other aspect of my repair experience was "worst of worst" including: 1) Disgusting rudeness on the part of the owner, Kevin Pelkey, and Carol Pelkey, who handles the front desk. All the way NASTY. 2) Lie after lie after lie about why the vehicle had poor bumper and trunk fit (and plenty of boorish declarations that "I HAVE OVER 40 YEARS IN THIS BUSINESS!!!") the FIRST time I went to pick it up on August 4th of 2023. I have been taking both of my old cars to Gil’s for about 4 years now, and have received excellent service every time. I’ve had all types of work done, brakes, complete windshield replacement (after safelight couldn’t help me), rust repair around the windshield, tires, battery, exhaust, and more. Kevin and Jamie are always so nice and go above and beyond for me. I’m moving away, but whenever I’m in town if I have a car problem, I will make my way back to Gil’s. Thank you for years of good service.

Kevin, Carol, and team went above and beyond to help me with my car. My battery died during frigid temperatures. Kevin graciously jumped my car so I could get it to the shop. They replaced the battery within two hours! So quick and efficient. Kevin also called to go over battery pricing - keeping it honest and transparent before service. I am lucky to have them nearby!

Recommended for the best of the best for any type of needed repairs. The work they have done on my vehicles spans decades. Neon, 2-Dakotas, Caravan, Ford Focus.2 Cadillacs. One repair, they fixed the entire undercarriage after the Neon ran over a street sign during a snow storm, Caravan hit a deer and the antlers were stuck in the fascia; Cadillac got hit by a deer. One Dakota just needed ball joint and tires. The other Dakota needed a fuel rail. They can restore any car to perfection. Thanks Kevin!
