This morning I broke down right across from Givens after running out of diesel and managed to steer my truck—with no power steering—into their driveway. I felt extremely lucky to have had car trouble right in front of a mechanic. But my hopes were immediately shattered because their mechanic had been at the mailbox, saw me stall out and struggle to guide my truck into their driveway, then walked right past me, and went inside. When I went inside and explained what happened, the woman at the counter confirmed they didn’t have diesel, which I understood. But when I asked about other options—like a short ride into town, calling someone to deliver fuel, or suggesting a shuttle—each time she just said, “I’m sorry, it's just two of us here today, we just can’t help.” When I asked if she knew any

Our alternator went out over the weekend on our way home from work. We called Givens and they told us to bring it up there and they would try to squeeze it in on Monday, but if they weren't able to get to it to it before the end of the day Monday, they would get to it by the end of the day Tuesday. We dropped the vehicle off at 8:00 Monday morning and they were able to squeeze us in and have us back on the road by 1:30 pm Monday afternoon! Everyone we came in contact with was extremely friendly and professional. We cannot recommend Givens enough! Thanks for your quick professional service!!

To my knowledge, this is a privately owned business run by husband and wife and their precious little girl who frequents the office. Both are always friendly and willing to answer any questions. They always address my concerns and I never have to take my car back because something wasn't done right the first time. They also run a towing service. I have not had to use this part of the business but I have received a call asking if I mind moving my appointment a little because there was a family in need. It's hard to run a business in this day and time especially in a small town. Give them a try! They are a great family and do great work!
