Glass America

Had a chip turn into full windshield cracks with all the super cold weather and defrosting the windshield. After my State Farm agent put in the claim, a rep from Glass America got me scheduled and made it easy. My car does have special features on the glass so it required going to a local shop rather than mobile replacement, but they were done in under 90 minutes!

Months ago my windshield needed to be replaced, took my car in for the appointment, waited for hours just for them to tell me the new windshield they ordered has a crack in it so I’ll have to come in another day. Had to take another day off work to come back but tried to not make a big deal about it. Fast forward to this week, my husband’s windshield needed to be replaced. They came to our house this time, didn’t have the right windshield at first so they came back the next day (yesterday). We got home last night to find the NEW windshield they put on was also cracked! We hadn’t been home or driven the car in between when they replaced it and when we discovered it. I called them today to tell them and their phones ring and ring with no answers. Finally got someone on the phone and she said

I very rarely leave a 5 star review, but this was the best thing to happen to me in my series of not so great events. I was visiting from 4 hours away in NC and for whatever reason when I turned my de frost on, my windshield cracked from side to side.. maybe it was the snow that had turned to ice that I was trying to get to melt but anyways I told them I had to leave to go back to nc by noon in two days and they didn't let me down. The guy showed up at my place and I didn't have to go anywhere and was back headed home as they promised. I sincerely appreciate everything when it had been such a rough week.

Woke up to a shattered drivers window. Glass America came to the rescue the next day. Quick and efficient job. This is the 2nd time they have completed window work for our family and would recommend them.

5 stars isn’t enough for this company! They have the best prices from the NRV to Roanoke, open availability and communication/customer service is next level. This company utilizes a call service center, automated text messages for addresses or appointment reminders and are always helpful and friendly whenever I called. I was super bummed to find out I needed a new windshield AND recalibration due to the type/sensors in my vehicle, but using Glass USA made the process even smoother than I could’ve imagined.
