G&M Auto Repair

I just had my first experience with G&M. They were a recommendation from a friend and I had such a positive experience dealing with them. Edwin was my mechanic, he was very communicative and thorough throughout the whole process. If I am back in the area and need help again with my German car I will be bringing it back to them.

This business does not even deserve a one-star review, I have discovered that the shop and the owner who worked on my car lack any licensing or certifications as mechanics in the state of Connecticut through the DMV. I brought my car to the owner for key programming after being informed that my existing key was malfunctioning. However, they retained my car for an extensive three-month period, necessitating tow truck arrangements for transportation (which we had to pay for). During this time, they informed me that my car needed an oil change and tune-up, leading to an additional charge of $1,000. Upon retrieving my car, I was shocked to discover it disassembled. Luckily I was taught by word of mouth about this places when I saw the review do to using the gps. I was afraid but my friend know this shop owners after getting to know them I can tell you they are hard working people that love cars just like me. They work in my corvette took them 4 hours to do the job I left a part at my house they lend me the shop car so I can fix my mistake I don't do reviews but after see the ones this shop has it fair I put my name and face on my experiences 4/27/24.

Marisol stood out because she actually took ownership. It felt like a small business shop where reputation matters. She kept communication simple, handled questions without delay, and followed through until it was done.

This place is amazing. I have moved all my car repairs over here. They are very experienced with any questions or repairs i have brought to them. They don't overcharge on parts, and they do not use cheap aftermarket parts either. Their labor is fair and everything has been done when promised. Give them a shot.
