Such an amazing and reliable and honest place! I took my truck here to get a second quote for a problem that another shop had quoted around $1,500 to fix, they fixed it for less than half of that, and even when we notice a weird noise upon pickup took the time to walk us through how to figure it ourselves in case it ever came up. Again! Again! I appreciate the time Robert took to explain everything to us and not worried about making a quick buck off of us. Will definitely come back for a future problems!!

In Springfield from out of town and this shop did an amazing job of quickly finding and solving a problem that my dealership at home couldn’t after having my car for two days and charging me $200+. I will be using GM and Sons from now on! Excellent customer service and very skilled mechanics.

For background, I am 9 months pregnant, literally can go into labor at any time and have a one year old son. The car in the shop? Our only car. We (my son and I) were going to go do grocery shopping when my car overheated and I was completely unable to get it to cool down. My 1 year old was also fed up and upset with the situation. So I had my car towed to this mechanic. It was about 4 in the afternoon, we were all hot and unhappy so I didn't get to call to give them my info or anything. We call first thing the next morning to make sure they have our information and the woman at the front almost immediately was snapping at us for not giving her our information earlier. Which was literally what we were calling to do. We were told our car could get looked at that day or early the next mornin

We moved to the Springfield area in 1990 and these folks are an amazing family that care about their customers. They have serviced our entire family’s autos of every make and model for 30+ years. Trustworthy and honest folks and highly recommend them!

The folks at GM & Sons are exceptional and kind people! They really went above and beyond for me! I want to thank them with ALL of my heart for helping me and getting my car running PERFECT again 😃 I was really stressed out about how I would get to work, but they were SO kind and gave me a lift just down the road to my job after I dropped my car off this morning, and they were able to get it running perfectly the same day.
