Godley Performance Transmission

I had a transmission built but Godley 25 years ago and loved it. Fast forward to 2025 and just had him build me another. Still loving it. Best transmission builder in south Ga hands down. Very pleased customer here and will definitely be back for any future needs. Thank you Godley Performance Transmission.

Took forever to get the truck back, they left the windows down outside and the interior was damp and covered in mold, and on top of that it shifted nothing like the original trans. It dumped its fluid around 4 months later. They would not honor their warranty insisting that I hot-rodded it. Five stars if you are looking for an excuse factory. Avoid Godley.

Had truck for 6 months rebuilding the transmission......constant excuses...... get it back and drove it for 6 days when the transmission dumped all the fluid out and left me stranded on the side of the road. I had it towed back to Godley and 3 or 4 weeks later he calls and says it wasn't under warranty but he did it at cost.... he said something knocked the line off and that wasn't covered. He didn't give an option to show me what happen or nothing just here you owe me again for the transmission rebuild. Terrible will not recommend .

I can't even begin to tell you what a poor transmission place this is. I've gone here 3-4 times and it's worse each time. Transmission shifts terribly after rebuild yet they say it's fine. The last one didn't even make it out of warranty before failing and when it fails they try to blame the customer. I am a complete idiot for going back and giving them the benefit of the doubt.

This is a performance trans shop. If you ever have any problems he stands behind his work. I've had over 5 trans in different setups and they were all great.
