Don’t waste your time with this place…had a custom drive shaft built and it broke in half in less then 100 miles. The welds are terrible and my truck had a terrible vibration because the drive shaft wasn’t balanced at all. They also told me 2 weeks to get the drive shaft and it took 2 months, and they also charged me twice for the same drive shaft and it took over a month for them to refund me my $1200…terrible customer service and they never answer or return calls. Please don’t use Gold star drive shafts.

Guy is a straight up crook. Can't build a drive shaft on top of terrible customer service. Do not waste your time or money. Don't know who's welding for him but they don't know what they're doing. It took him longer to mail the drive shaft out then the shaft lasted. Pitiful excuse for a business "man". There's a reason his warranty page states that he doesn't refund money.

Ronald Hunter at Gold Star Driveshaft is a hack and a theif don't trust him with any purchase. I bought a Tacoma driveshaft that arrived damaged, unbalanced and not even straight. Ron agreed to refund my money after a local driveshaft shop said the shaft was so out it needed to be rebuilt. It's been a month of phone calls and promises to refund my money to no avail. I gave Ron every opportunity to save himself from a bad review but he basically challenged me to write it. Please do your homework and read the reviews I wish I did.

I waited over a year for this review to see if I was still upset by it... Turns out I am. This place is terrible, they balanced my driveshaft then ended up loosing part of it. It is so unorganized that it is not surprising. I bought the part they lost on ebay and realized the driveshaft was not balanced correctly... I went back a few times to ""fix it" and then I finally gave up. Luckily I found a used driveshaft that worked perfectly-- thus I wasted time and money on this place which I regret. Lesson learned-- AVOID.

Drive shaft not built to specs, inadequate customer service. I ordered a driveshaft built by Ron, gave him the right specs. The driveshaft could not be installed because he used the wrong flange on the differential end. I called and he said he would send the correct part next day. I never got it. Tried calling again, and the part is out of stock. Tried calling again, no answer. Again next day, no answer. Again next day, left a message to get the tracking number, no callback. Again next day, no answer. Been calling every day with no answer. Nightmare service, and they're about to get their second complaint at the BBB.
