Griffin Transmissions

This was probably the worst experience as a customer I've ever had. I took my truck in for a simple oil leak, two trips back and $1600 later my truck wouldn't even start. I had another mechanic look at it and he found that they had replaced a supposed new part with a very used part. So I ended up having to spend another $769 to get my truck running right which turned out to be that they'd screwed up putting my truck back together! So in all their mistakes cost me about $1200. They did buy the part back from me at the price of the new one a real mechanic installed. Don't go there, you'll probably regret it.

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500, 4WD with a 68RFE Transmission. After the original, it has had 2 remanufactured transmission installed. I only tow on occasions. I didn't want to install another trans with inferior parts. I called around and finally found Griffin Transmission. Spoke with Kellard and he seemed very knowledgeable with the 68RFE trans. I told him that I didn't want to deal with another remanufactured trans, instead wanted it rebuilt in-shop with upgraded parts. He and his crew had the trans in-n-out and rebuilt in 4 days at a reasonable cost. Always kept me informed. He warranties his work. Been driving it and towing on a couple occasions for a couple of months since September. NEVER has driven better. THANK YOU!

Great service and great people. Fantastic prices. The owner Bubba Griffin sponsored my Son to go to California, ( Disney World ). With Student Counsel. My Son is a straight A Student. He deserves to go . I'm on a fixed income and no way could I afford him to go. Bubba is a great man and runs a honest business and is fair to all his customers. If you have mechanical needs or need transmission work. He is your go to Man. He is a fair man and does fantastic work.

Griffin transmission did a great job on my truck. Was fast service, asked me to bring it back in two week so that they could check out the transmission. All in all great place to take you vehicle to for transmission service.

Had problems over and over for shuttering. Took it in for warranty rebuilt and it still shuttered over and over. I just have up taking it back. I think honestly only used fluid additive to just to get me by over warranty miles.. but it couldn't even make it a week. Stay away. And my warranty paid like 2500-2600 worth
