Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center

Based on the ratings and reviews here, I must have just had terrible luck; Grismer is clearly respected and good to most. I have brought my car in three times in the last month for the same issue. Less than a year ago, I was told it was a battery issue and opened a line of credit with Grismer. They performed the service quickly and I was satisfied and thought the price was fair. I went with a high quality battery at their recommendation. The second time my car wouldn't start, I was told that the alternator was bad; again they performed the service quickly and had a reasonable price, but I found it odd that the alternator was apparently in perfect condition when first checked. What a great company! As fleet manager for a tire company in NW Ohio, I was impressed with the service I received today. I was in town at a conference in Westerville and found a nail in my sidewall. I called the Westerville store to see if they had my tire in stock(Michelin Crossclimate). They did not, but after checking the company's inventory, they found my tire at a different location, Broad St. I called to verify they had the tire and could they get me in first thing Saturday(being in the business, I knew it was the busiest day of the week). Blaine assured me that he could get me in and asked if I could be there at 730. I showed up at 715, Blaine opened the door and wrote me up. I was done by 8am! This place was referred to us by a friend. And we discovered he was definitely right about how awesome they are. Blaine was great helping us to FINALLY sort out what was causing our truck not to start (just a weak battery). He and the team replaced it quickly. And it cost less than we had anticipated for the fix. Grismer will be our permanent auto repair and upkeep location from now on.

I stopped in without an appointment to see if they had time to put on 4 tires. I had hit a curb and severely damaged two tires. I would not be able to make the hour drive home without tires losing air and only had one spare “donut”. Grismer went out of their way to assist me. They had a couple choices for my size tires but none were at the store. However they drove to their storage facility, picked up my new tires, installed them, performed alignment, and did an oil change for me. All without an appointment as a walk in. I can’t begin to thank them enough, I could not find any of their competitors that were willing to assist me.
