When my motorcycle broke down on the Garden State Parkway last month, I was so lucky to meet Ted at Grone's Wrecker Services. He's an expert at what he does, and he was able to get me off the curb and on to the nearest motorcycle repair shop in record time. He knew to compress the front shock absorbers on my bike fully when putting it on the back of his tow truck so as to prevent slippage over bumpy roads. He even gave me a short trip to back to a hotel I'd booked for the night a few blocks away, saving me a costly Uber ride. The price of his services was incredibly reasonable, and I was able to get back up and running the very next day thanks to his local knowledge and expertise! Ted's the man!! Thank you, Grone's!!

If there was an option for negative stars that’s what I would give on their payment and billing. Actual service and recovery was done with the help of two of my employees pulling the line. It’s the billing and charging that I would say these guys are scum bags. I called for a recovery of mini machine that fell over on its side. I was told $300 to come out plus $250 an hour. The recovery was complete within the hour. I get a bill for an extra hour because of the travel time and time it took for rolling back up the winch line. Which I was not told about prior to scheduling the recovery. And again mind you, to be clear I had two of my own employees helping the driver pull the line for him while he navigated the controls. I then had an issue with my credit card not going through bc I needed

Fantastic! Around 430am on the garden state parkway I ran over a metal rake which was sliding into my lane with spikes up. Tire went flat very quickly. I didn't have to wait too long for Grone's. The tow driver was fantastic! He was so pleasant and helpful. Didn't get his name.

We had a tire blow out on 95. Joe showed up and he was the most nicest professional employee. It was July 4th and he wasn’t bothered at all that it was a holiday and he was working. He saw how upset I was and my dog was frightened to death. He made us all feel safe and he assured us that he would make sure we were safe and he would be there to help us get through the ordeal. Would highly recommend. Also the tow truck driver was very kind and professional. He made us feel very comfortable about getting to the repair shoppe and that we were safe.

I was stranded on the GSP at 3am with a 2023 Honda CR-V AWD. After calling Honda road side assistance they directed me to AAA 5 hours later. When AAA called me at 7:15am, 4 hours after I called HRA...AAA sent Grones auto towing. The driver was laughing and asked what did I need. I told him, I believe just a jump...to which he responded that I pay $86. When I refused, he drove away saying "I'm gonna call the State Police who will give me 2 hours to have my car out" If not, it would be towed away. As he drove away laughing at my peril.
