Absolutely the worst service in the Columbus area. Had a 9am appointment for engine oil and filter change, and tire rotation. Arrived early and they didn’t start on my vehicle until 11:10. I walked over to see what they were doing and observed the mechanic or whatever he is attempting to rotate my tires, only he just swapped the fronts with the rears. No crossing so I asked the service “advisor” Mike, and he said they stopped crossing years ago. I said we’re done, get my vehicle out now and I’ll pay for whatever was done. Anyway, I’m sick of this dealership, they’ve gone downhill in the past three years. Will never return, and probably going to get rid of the two GMCs I own.

Took 3 hours and 30 minutes from my scheduled appointment time to finish my first maintenance covered by GM. Additionally, didn’t fill the DEF even though its specified in the first time service. I know it’s a complimentary first time service, but we pay for that when we buy a vehicle. Additionally, owners manual recommends some products for duramax owners and this dealers doesn’t have them and doesn’t sell them. Makes sense but kind of inconvenient that I need to find a separate GM.

As always, Jamie and the team at Rivertown Buick GMC took care of my truck’s servicing needs. Specifically, he is knowledgeable and humble enough to ask intelligent questions to the right people to meet my servicing goals. Whether that's fixing maintenance issues on one truck or coordinating with the parts department to order/install non-standard equipment onto my trucks, he is the best. Definitely service advisor of the year in my eyes.

Well It is a real shame when you trust your car that for 30,000 miles ran perfectly well and extrodinarily quiet. Then a check engine comes on. Still no problem with operation and still so quiet that I forgot to switch off when I arrived home. I took to the dealership since the powertrain warranty was still in effect. Now the trouble. After replacing the turbocharger the car starting making an exhaust fluttering sound as if from manifold connection to Turbo. But the dealer said i needed 1200 dollar muffler. After that the sound is still there but JR Carmichael the Shop Foreman says no problems. I would highly reccomend taking your vehicle elsewhere for anything but simple oil change.

Just picked my truck up from Rivertown GMC. They have already replaced my transmission before which was not a great experience. I. was reluctant to return for the engine light coming on this time but I did anyway. I was told by the service writer that my transmission was malfunctioning again and I had to pay a diagnostic fee of around 400 dollars, so they could check it out. I have a warranty with a 100-dollar deductible. This did not make sense. I spoke with the service manager and gave him my warranty. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay 187 dollars. Again, My deductible is 100 dollars. These people only want your money and are not friendly with their customers. I will not be returning for further service. I do not feel like they care about their customers at all!
