If I can give a 6 star rating, I would ! After being in the Bay Area for twenty years I can honestly say Gustavo is The Best mechanic I’ve ever had ! While living in San Francisco, I was going to Carlos Auto Repair ( sadly since retired ) He was the #1 all time mechanic in the city rated on Yelp. Well ... Id even rate Gustavo above that !! One thing that often happens at other shops is when you go there, there’s always a large crowd of cars that need to be fixed ahead of you. You gotta drop off the car and pick up later. Gustavo’s is great because when I make a scheduled visit ( and after diagnosis ) I show up, get my car fixed immediately and then leave with it fixed ! I called Gustavo and told him that I needed the water pump on my 99 suburban replaced, l had the part. He told me he was working on a car and that I could come at 4:10pm. But I said 4:30 pm would be better. So when I showed up at his shop it turned out the part I brought was missing a head gasket. He then called Napa auto parts and ordered a new water pump for which I paid. He did an excellent testing the pressure before and after replacing the water pump. I plan on coming back to him for further maintenance. Nice guy. Highly recommended.

I met Gustavo through a Facebook page. I was looking for a mechanic in the area who had either worked on my type of car, or owned the same model, and he happened to be both! He’s done everything from fixing fuses, gasket, breaks, oil change etc. He helped me get my van all tuned up and back on the road. I highly recommend him, I will definitely be going back for future maintenance on my vehicles.

Beyond 5 stars. Recently had work done on my 1986 Toyota Van Wagon and Gustavo made 30+ year old suspension feel brand new. Definitely coming back here for all my future needs. Very fair pricing and top notch work. Thank you, Gustavo!
