I had an excellent experience at Guaranty Chevrolet in Santa Ana. Andrew and the entire service team were very professional, quick, and attentive to all of my concerns regarding my Malibu. They made the process smooth, fast, and completely painless which I am not accustomed to at dealerships. Thank you to the Guaranty Chevy service crew for the outstanding customer service! This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had purchasing a new car, both in terms of service and vehicle quality. After only 2K ish miles, the car has already spent nearly 30 days in the service department. During the financing process, the finance representative made us scared me and my wife suggesting that these cars frequently break down and strongly urging us to buy an extended warranty due to high repair costs. Unfortunately, the car has already broken down twice — the second time occurring just an hour after I had picked it up, supposedly repaired. Throughout this entire process, I have not received a single update from the dealership’s service department.

Nov 19, 2024: Reducing my rating to 1 star now. The issue continues even after my second visit to the dealership. Few days after my second visit, I got the same issue. Went back to the dealership for the third time this week, paid another $200+ to fix the issue. So far I did 3 visits to the dealership. Other than my first regular visit, remaining two visits could have been avoided if they did a proper diagnosis in the first place. On top of this I have to pay additional $200 for every visit. At this moment, I may end up not moving forward with Chevy for the future vehicles, if I get treated like this from an authorized chevy dealership.
