H & H Radiator & AC Repair

Like many businesses during this time, this business is short of help. My Jeep ran hot so I took it in for repair. Since I live in Maine I wanted a reputable business which H&H Radiator is. I've known of the business personally for 50 years having worked in a service station up the road from there in 1971. They had trouble diagnosing the problem. The radiator was replaced which was needed but didn't solve the problem. Water pump replacement was suggested. I authorized the work and was told it would be another day's wait. Early afternoon the next day I got the call my Jeep was ready. It turned out the culprit was the fan. Much to their credit, H&H Radiator repaired the fan which lowered the price of the repair work. Excellent work, excellent price, and knowledgeable people… I was having some trouble with my heat in my Dodge Ram. They took their time with it and made sure they got to the bottom of the problem!!! Even offered me a discount on the work!!!

I've come here for several issues...some would be considered normal or routine and others were self inflicted (starting a repair I should not finish). At every instance, I sincerely believe this shop has treated me fairly and gone out of their way to explain each issue and provide more than one option for how to approach it. I can't recommend them enough if you're looking for good service at a good price. Beyond myself, while coming/going/waiting in the lobby I've witnessed their professionalism with other clients who were having a less than great day. Took my jeep here for diagnostic of the ac. They ending up keeping my vehicle for a couple days and I paid $150 as some kind of tear down diagnostic fee. I ended up with no diagnostic, just handed me an actuator gear in my hand along with a receipt. The ac actually is worse off now than when I dropped it off to them. The guy told me he didn’t know what was wrong with it but he would need more time and more money to find out. What a waste of my money and time, should have just took it to the dealership, at least I would have received a proper diagnosis for the hard earned money paid. **Response to Owner Reply** All concerns listed in my review were expressed with staff prior to leaving the premises. Even though service was not rendered properly(to say the least), I still paid in good
